Will M-Audio keyboard work with DIGI 002

I am using an M-Audio Keystaiotn Pro 88 Controller Keyboard. Have just purchased A DIGI 002, which is running on my Powerbook G4. Am I able to use this controller keyboard by plugging it into the MIDI in on the 002. I read somewhere that there could be compatability problems.
