Default Grid use, one hits and time stretching, also good sites for good one hit sample

When using one hits and the grid for mapping out beats, do you need to time stretch or adjust for tempo on the one hits? Or is it fine to just place them on the grid and go?

What are some good sites for one hit samples?
I downloaded the kalava stuff and its not bad, but
I want more sounds.. thanks
