What NOT to optimize?
I am optimizing my Windows10 pc to get rid of some clutter and hopefully have a smoother running pc. Also to lower my CPU a bit. 4 example, Pro tools suggests to run your PC on high level, not balanced level. When optimizing my pc, what should I NOT optimize so I can keep Pro tools running at peak level? Thanks for any advice.

Re: What NOT to optimize?
(A) Disable all your USB power management.
(2) Power plan….everything (drives, monitors, etc) ALWAYS ON. IMHO. |

Re: What NOT to optimize?
Easier to tell you what to optimize:
http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=377580 And search the Forum for "Processor Affinity"
