Default Re: Mountain Lion - Pro Tools Express

This is great to hear. I think I'll do my laptop first to Mountain Lion and test.

Default Is Avid Not Supporting Express?

I am able to find nothing on the Avid support page, download/update pages or anywhere else in Support that deals with ProTools Express. Am I just not looking in the right place. I understand that it is a bundled, "trimmed down" version of PT but that does not mean its users should be left to fend for themselves.

Avid: If PT 10 updates work for Express, tell us. If not, tell us and then guide us. Silence is not an acceptable option. Thanks.

It seems that between the two of us, we have worded this same question every way possible. Avid is just not answering us.

Bummer

Pro Tools Express is not automatically included in Pro Tools updates - separate work is required. All I can say at this time is that the current version of Pro Tools Express (10.2) is not officially qualified with Mountain Lion. We have updated the Pro Tools Express FAQ with this info.

Default Re: Future Software Updates?

Thanks for the update Avid. I still hope we get updates as I'd like to buy a new Mac soon, and won't have a choice of OS.
