Paste to fill into multiple regions
Let's say I have one track with several regions spaced out from each other. Is there a way to select all regions and only paste into the regions, not the total selected space?

Re: Paste to fill into multiple regions
What do you want to paste into the clips ?
Another longer clip, that gets automatically cut and fills just the spaced clips, leaving out the gaps between the spaced clips ?

Re: Paste to fill into multiple regions
Use the replace clip command from the clip menu

Sorry for the delayed response — thought I was subscribed to updates to the forum but turns out I'm not. :)

I don't have this command available…is that a HD-only thing? |

Re: Paste to fill into multiple regions
Can you elaborate on that, since I see no way to replace multiple clips at once ?
Replace clip works for one to-be-replaced selected clip only; and if replacing one after another, all replaced clips will start with the start of the replacement audio. Quote:
Manual workaround would be to place the track 1 with the original clips and the track 2 of the replacement audio clip under each other, Select 1. original clip, Start-Click the replacement clip to get it to the same start time, select 1. original clip, select track 2, "B" ( to divide the replacement clip identical to the original clip), Select 2. original clip, Start-Click the remaining replacement clip to get it to the same start time, select 2. original clip, select track 2, "B" ( to divide the replacement clip identical to the original clip), Select 3. original clip, Start-Click the remaining replacement clip to get it to the same start time, select 3. original clip, select track 2, "B" ( to divide the replacement clip identical to the original clip), ... .
