Default Setting RMS and Peak values

Hi guys,

I process a lot of audio for voice recording and have very specific specs to meet. Between -23dB and -18dB RMS and have -3dB peak values and a maximum -60dB noise floor.

Is there any built in plug-in (or even one I can buy) where I can enter these parameters and render it off?

At the minute, I'm just using a built in compressor/limiter but over long audio files (45+ minutes) occasionally the RMS will fall too low or there might be the odd spike that sends the peak over -3dB.

The audio is recorded elsewhere, by amateurs, not using Pro Tools so it all has to be sorted after the recording process.

Any help, much appreciated.

Thanks

Possibly Waves WLM Plus.

WLM Plus gives you a read out after playback. For offline conforming, iZotope RX is brilliant. But it goes by LUFS, not RMS. Who the devil is using RMS for longterm loudness measurements these days?! That's like telling a builder how long to make your house in cubits.

Free...

Also, the included Gain Audio Suite plug-in can read a file and give you RMS and peak readings,
as well as the old Slate FG-X can do it in real time.
Best of luck…
