Default MotorMIX with PTNT - anyone using this?

Was thinking of getting a MotorMIX controller for use with PT|NT 5.01 linked to an Opcode Studio 64X midi interface...
anyone has experience with this...is it working okay ?

Hi Dan,

I have a MM but I haven't really learned the ropes on it. I don't know much about midi cards for NT either. I purchased the Winman 4x4s.Had to have updated chips sent for the midi card, but everything runs okay. I just haven't slowed down enough to learn where everything is to navigate through all those little buttons. So, naturally it feels a little clumsy for me right now. Also,Its automated faders are a little noisy, but you can always turn it off for critical listening I guess. Everything seems to work, but I am wondering if I have not grown too accustomed to hotkeys and the mouse... for my own liking that is. Well, I suppose it's still cool that you can reach for a fader for a fraction of the cost of other control surfaces. That alone may be worth the price for most.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.I'm sure there are a lot of people with much better experience and opinions on the MM in the Tips & Techniques forum.

Sean M.
