Ya, they were on a 2 first then I put them on a brand new 3…still no luck.

I’ll try sticking them on a 1 but I’m not convinced that will help…

I'll also be very surprised if a big blue key helps.

Do you have the original iLok the licenses was on under ZDT? Is there any chance the ZDT 90 day limit was passed? I would hope moving the license would always fix that, but who knows... can you put it back and do a manual license refresh in ILM?

We've never had ZDT on any of these iLoks...


And I couldn't tell you which iLok original had these licenses or if it's even still around? It's very odd though, as everything but Trigger2 will work off our main iLok...and the secondary licenses only have specific plugins that won't work:


HEAT
X-Form
Reel Tape Suite
Tel-Ray
Voce Bundle

Trigger 2
Hybrid

I notice some/most of those plugins are activated to the Cloud, but Pro Tools 10 does not understand cloud activations... so is ILM/the low level drivers seeing those cloud licenses and not looking on the iLok? Can you deactivate any cloud sessions or maybe move those licenses out of the cloud?

Yes I have no real clue here, am just making stuff up.

We don't use anything cloud based here, it's all on local iLoks...so I guess that won't be it...


I updated the list of things that don't work. We really just wanted X-Form and HEAT, so those are the 2 biggest drags...otherwise, this still makes one damn fine tracking rig for our studio's main room that has all the sexy outboard gear, console and tape machines.


My newer Ultimate rig is going into a dedicated mix suite that will have some choice analog gear and the SSL controllers, but it's a room that only I will be using - our main room will soon be rented out to outside clients for the first time in nearly 2 decades. The rig works fine as it is for now, I'm just being picky about these plugins working but...they SHOULD work, I own them!!

Want to humor me and try pulling those licenses that your ILM is showing are activated to the cloud out of the cloud and just see what happens....

Also, on a whim I just stuck a few of those licenses on the system as a machine license, and even then they still don't work...

I now decided to do an entirely brand new Mavericks 10.9.5 install…updated all OS updates, final version of HD10…and still, NO X-form, HEAT or Trigger2 will work.

I’m at a loss here. These are my secondary licenses and there should be nothing wrong with them. The main licenses on my personal ilok work, why should these not work?

So annoyed right now. The only thing I haven’t tried is another computer entirely. Is that what it’s gonna come down to?

There are none in the cloud…they’re all on local iloks. You want me to put them on the cloud and back again?

Just tried it with HEAT and X-Form, no go. Trigger 2 wouldn’t allow itself to be transferred to the cloud, so couldn’t try that. But, if those 2 didn’t work then I assume it’s a no. Good thought though!!

I think these duplicate licenses are corrupt or they’re messed up in some way. Bad metadata? Can that happen to an ilok license?
