Waves v6 not showing on pt 7.x

Hi folks,

I'm trying to resuscitate this old tdm system for a special project.

We assembled pretty much everything there is to get it up and running.

What we have is PPC G5 on OS X 10.4.6~10.4.11 running Pro tools HD 7.2, 7.4.

Everything is running smooth and fine except for this Waves v6 plugin.

All the other 3rd party plugins are showing correctly but, Waves plugin is not showing inside pro tools.

I tried intalling only one waves plugins we're using and also installing bundle as well but no luck.

I asked waves but no sign of meaningful help.

I don't think it's an ilok license problem because when i had ilok licenses of waves v6.0 off from my ilok usb, pro tools asks for 'Waves V6.0.0 ilok license' when initiating pro tools and then when i put the licenses back in my ilok usb, pro tools reads Waveshell 6.0.6 DAE just fine.

Waves complete v6r8 is the installer we are using by the way.

Can somebody help me?

If you don’t have a TDM specific license, you won’t get the TDM version. But you will get RTAS and Audiosuite. To get to Waves’ prefs, hold the shift key while launching Pro Tools and you’ll be presented with options for loading Waves plugins in Pro Tools.

I tried that already... checking 'Don't use TDM','Don't use RTAS' etc.. but no luck so far.

I don't know what the heck is wrong with it really.
