Venue 4.5 is it coming today...

I had heard now from several sources that the software 4.5 will be released today (Sept 19th). Anyone heard any different?

I dont think its coming today. Why should they release an new Firmware that needs an additional 1GB of RAM on an Friday - where nobody has the additional RAM and there will be no support over the Weekend.

I was at a Venue S3L Seminar in Oslo sep. 5th, and it was said the release should be the 19th. Don't remember anybody talking about extra ram for use with 4.5!

I can’t find the 4.5 offline/standalone version, is it available yet?

No. U have to register your Engine as far as i have seen. Then it takes some time till its in your Account - at least they say so.
But i dont know when the Standalone Software will be available to the public.

The 4.5 Standalone software will be available in your Avid account once you activate your 4.5 redemption code (mailed out in a kit).

We've also always made the Standalone versions publicly available so you can go ahead and grab that here if you like:
