Thanks to Avid and Mr. Scovill re S3L
I gotta say, I had written the little beast off as too much for too little, but I walked away from tonite's "show&tell" at Soundcheck(Nashville), much more intrigued and impressed. Can't wait for the coming DAW control, but its got a whole lot more to it than meets the eye

Avid's promotional material often leaves a lot out so I'm not surprised.
The last time they published a more complete management list the former chief engineer of Euphonix was in charge of the audio division so I've been expecting to see great things console-wise.
