under import session data, currently if you want to import plug in settings you have to import plug in automation. they are tied together. can they be separated?

when using a previous set of plug in settings for a different song as a starting point, you (usually!) don't want plug in automation from a different song. some plugs don't change color of automate-able things, so its hard to tell sometimes.

As a workaround:

import your data, then save it as a Preset, then undo your Import Session Data. Preset is still in the preset menu, then can load it.

don't think they can be separated, but many of us have empty tracks in a session that have our favorite plug-ins already inserted. They are all in default mode, so I import those, and then import audio to the region bin. Just region group them before you import them.
