New install PT12.2 iLok issue
Used PT at work for years (Uni) , our Central IT Dept now manage all the licences.
Got a new personal licence today , shows up on ilok as Pro Tools Perpetual . But when I launch PT 12.1 on home machine (that was previously licenced with ATP licence that expired Dec31st) it now asks to activate iLok ? Click Activate , put in iLok user details , comes back that I don;t have any licences to activate . Updated iLok support software , shows licence is ok ? This is the first time I've attempted to run PT from this new iLok , is there a step I've missed ? I've supported ProTools for about ten years now and this is a new one on me ! |

Is it because the install was originally authorised to a different iLok account ?
I get to the Select Licence to Activate , if you have an iLok USB plug in now . The iLok Manager sees the licences but Pro-tools only gives me the quit option ? What have I done wrong !!! |

Ok , it's an existing 12.2 install with a new licence .
iLok Licence Manager recognises and lists the physical licence , why doesn't Pro-tools ? Perpetual licence ! |
