I got a great response from Waves! They sent me a step by step procedure to get them installed and working. It was because when I was uninstalling the files and trying to reload them it wasn't completely uninstalling everything so that was the first step then....

I had to download the entire package I had with the 9.6 installer and install them through the new Waves Central. BAM they are all installed and working!

I want to post the reply I got but it may be too long.

To all that helped , thank you. I got it all working. Waves sent me a step by step guide to get it working. Apparently I had to use Installer 9.6 to get the complete folder of plugins, download my Gold bundle then use the new Waves Central to install them. Now they are working in both PT10 and PT12! Flawlessly.

FYI Kids,
The "latest" Waves Central (Today) corrupted my VS 9.6 plugins on Win PT 11.3.2 because it requires the "latest version of Windows" which might mean the (Creators Update) which on my install of Win 10 makes my PT 11.3.2 stop working. cart before horse? had to strip it all out and offline install 9.6 to get back to normal. Waves tech was good yet when I told him their software was to blame for the corruption they denied it - it in the end WAS their software that was incompatible with Win 10 1607 build. Good support yet they need to make it backwards compatible or at least do an OS compatibility chart like Avid does.
I am back up after 3 hrs of nonsense that started with updating my waves 9.6 with the latest waves central program...lesson: if you are avoiding the Windows Creators Update, use legacy downloads 9.6 installers offline only. cheers.

another note: my Win 10 stopped asking me to install the Creators Update around 1-15-2018 after pestering me for 6 months...super fishy as it is not on the startup menu as update and install anymore. A sign?

That's weird because I run PT12.5.2 with CE Windows 10 and mine runs perfectly with all of my Waves plugins. What I did do was completely make my system fly by doing all of the tweeks for PT. Made a world of difference over all.

I completely wiped my Waves out and reloaded the 9.6 version by using the new Waves Central. I do know that if you do not get all of it out before reinstalling them you will have the same problems.

Can you give some details on what you did specifically? I am going through this right now with Waves Silver v10 and PT 10. I don't see the plugs loading at startup and nowhere to be found in PT.

So yeah, what a GIGANTIC PAIN IN THE BUTT this has turned into. This "Central" installer pure garbage. I first installed the V10 Waves Central app and installed Silver V10 but it does not show up in PT10. I searched the folders, etc, re=installed, no luck. Then I uninstalled V10 plugs and Central app and did everything listed here on the waves website https://www.waves.com/support/how-to...ll-waves-v9-92
But it ends up with an error that tells me to go read the flippin' troubleshooter on the website which is that page so it's a big loop. I have spent the better part of a Sunday with this and frankly it's not worth it. Im thinking of just asking for a REFUND and I will use something else. I have been building applications for over 25 years and this is the worst installer I have ever seen in production. Sheesh dudes, cmon.

Yet I open up Reaper x64 which I haven't used in a long time and what do you know...all of my Waves plugs are there. VST3 of course but still..

Are you guys sure 100% that the installer you are using have either RTAS or AAX32 bit versions included as I thought those versions were only found in the older installers like 9.3 etc .. ?

PS I am 10000000% sympathetic to your plight as we have NEVER updated any Waves plugin bundle without wasting time and energy to the max since for us it always goes avry and need to be redone several times ...

A very bad install process for the size of the company!!

Pro Tools 10? You have to use a Legacy installer, NOT v10 of Waves. And yes, the have to be RTAS or AAX32.
