Default Moving Everything Downstream

Let's say I want to add 4 bars at the beginning of a track in progress. Is there a fast way to select everything and shift it downstream 4 bars which includes all audio and midi tracks (with their animations) plus all tempo, time signature changes and markers?

Thanks for the advice.

Use the Insert Time command in the midi menu (PT6.x) and everything will move by the selection amount.

I think Rail posted a better way to do this a while back that will preserve the timing your playlists. If you can, change the session start time to four bars later and everything will move down, including the playlists. Am I right Rail?

Right -- if you just need more time in front of the session.. I'd recommend changing the session start time rather than using "Insert Time". That will preserve time stamps and affect all playlists.. whereas "Insert Time" won't.
