Workspace metadata editor?

Hello all, bellow is from a post I made 6 years ago. Wondering if there was any news here:

Would be SUPER helpful if there was a way to edit the metadata used in all the new workspace fields (Tags, key, etc). Specifically a way to port info from filenames, and file comments into the Tags so people with huge existing libraries can utilize the tag filtering functions. Manually editing individual metadata fields is LAUGHABLY pointless for professionals that often have hundreds of thousands of files. Something like the SOUNDMINER's functionality of import/export as a delimited text file that could be edited in Excel would be perfect. Haven't looked closely at the new workspace database files yet, so maybe this function is easily hackable.
