Default Mbox 3 PT10 Unable to recognize hardware

Hi guys, have been struggling with this damn issue for weeks now.
I do not know what caused it to happen, but PT just does not want to recognize my mbox 3 anymore. It works fine otherwise, shows up as "Avid Mbox" in device manager. Latest drivers installed, lates PT installed (10.3.5).
I have followed some other advice on this site (unchecked "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"), uninstalled and reinstalled both PT and mbox3, etc etc. I just can't figure it out. I am so tired of struggling with PT these days, all the years I've used it there has always been so many issues. Can someone please help me with this or is there any way that Avid can help me out so I can actually use what I bought?

First:

Second:
Post Sandra Report

Third:
Can you describe any if at all system changes you may have made?

While you work on posting a Sandra report can you post system specs?

Have you tried different usb port hubs? Usb cables?

Hi' this sound like a PT Prefs Problem to me

you can try this go to (C:Program Files x86 Avid/protools/DAE/DAE Perfs)
open
and delete files then reopen PT

This will make PT do a complete rescan of your system

some times updates and other things can canges prefs in PT

I hope this helps!

To add to popajoes suggestion, after you trash the preferences, empty the recycling bin and reboot your pc.

Also try launching PT while holding down the "n" key to manually select a playback engine

Hey guys, I tried everything suggested here and it still didn't work. Fortunately, i think i lucked out yesterday. I tried, once more, to completely uninstall and power off the mbox, restarted the computer and let windows install it automatically. When it was installing the drivers it found something beside the "Avid Mbox" device, some service or function or something that it installed (cant remember the name) and then it just worked after that. Why it didn't see it before makes no sense to me, so now I'm not touching that driver.
Anyway, thanks for your help!
