I'm looking into the 002Rack. I know the control surface came out a year ago and am curious how "old" the 002Rack is now. I can't help but wonder if we're on the edge of another revision since nothing was announced @ namm.

Do you believe a revision is coming sooner vs later?
And if so what do you think the feature set would be?

In my opinion, the next hardware release will probably be a Firewire version of the mbox, perhaps similar to an M-Audio 410. Then again, they could always surprise us with a little USB dongle allowing us to use PT with any hardware we like. Although possible, not probable - not yet anyway....

Go for the 002R, I think it's still relatively new and I can't imagine they're slaving away designing something too similar. You have music waiting to be made and that will certainly take care of it.

The Digi001 came out almost 5 years ago and it is still being sold. I would say that the Digi002 and Digi002R still have a lot of life left in them. The Mbox would be the first thing updated/changed I think considering it is the oldest and the weakest in the lineup.

I would like to see an improvement in Protools software to sequence midi and not have to use an add on like Reason 2.5

Fixing Pro Tools 6.xs' issues seem likely & quite welcomed. Hardware wise Digi has released a ton as of late. Hopefully it's a software year. PT 7, anyone?
