IS there a difference between s/pdif and xlr monitor outs?
IS there a quality difference between s/pdif and xlr or trs monitor outs?in anathor words i am talking about L/R monitor outs only purposes.
if any what is it etc.

I can't tell any. I use both, running the analog thru my mixer and out to Mackie 624's, and I run the S/PDIF out to a set of 2.1 powered digital computer speakers for a 'little mix' perspective.
I haven't tried sending the S/PDIF to the Mackies as they are analog ins only. Sort of an Apples and Oranges comparison.
