Confused about the Plug Ins for Digi 002

I am totally new at this so don't get upset if this sounds stupid.

I bought my 002 in March and a new G4. I waited forever like many of you for the software update to come out.

The old software had plug-ins with it. They don't work now because the trial date is already passed.

Did any plug-ins come free with my 002? Was I suppose to get the killer plug-in package with this new set of 6.0 drivers? Do I simply need to update the old ones? Or do I need to get an iLok key?

Someone please help.

Contact customer support for help. If I remember correctly, the plug-in pack that came with the 002 in March was still the one with the Waves Renaissance, some Digi plugs, Sampletank LE and something else. They weren't trial versions and from what I've read here, they don't require iLok for 6.0.2. You should just need to authorize the plugs but again, if you're having problems, I'd call customer support. They're very helpful. Bueno suerte.

I'm in the same boat, new G4, OSX, etc., but fear not for there is a light on the horizon... the Digidesign plug-ins should come with the Pro Tools 6 upgrades; you can get free upgrades for Sampletank SE and Amplitube at the IK Multimedia website; contact Waves at www.waves.com for info on how to get free upgrades for the rennaissance plug-in (actually I went ahead and paid $600 at sweetwater.com for the upgrade to "Gold Native," a huge amount of plug-in processing punch for the buck, for $300 you can upgrade to "Rennaissance Maxx," but if you've got some cash get the Gold, it's more than You'll likely ever need...); and the Native Instruments "Pro-53" OSX upgrade doesn't come out until August, check out their website for more info...

your D-fi , D-fx are included with the 6.0 upgrade. The maxim , waves renisance, Sampletank and aplitube are a free update but you are supposed to register your products. The pro -52 digiedition isnt ready for OSX yet but will be coming out soon. You have to go to each of their websites and register first! good luck you should have done this as soon as you got it in the box. [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Hold up. Did I miss something?

I just got my G4 and 002Rack in June. The only plug ins I see are the Audiosuite and RTAS. Did I get 3rd party plug ins that I'm not aware of? Sampletank, Amplitube, Waves Rennaissance, and Native Instruments are 3rd party, right?

Was I suppose to register with them to get these other plug ins?
