Default Pro Tools 12.3 Crashes when exceed tracks while committing!!!

Pro Tools 12.3 seems to crash when you exceed tracks (native pro tools) when committing...
For example i had 80 tracks in a session and tried to commit them ....
Checked the track and click commit...Commit started normally and when it was finishing it crashed....
I then started to commit 20 tracks at a time...then i realised when you are close to 138 audio the crash occurs....
Not a big deal though....but pro tools should give a message or something and not just crash because of exceeding track number...
However,i love the new features ...
You guys check this out if this happen to you and let Avid know about this and have it fixed next time

just want to make sure i am reading this correctly ...

1) 80 tracks in a session and tried to commit them ....
Checked the track and click commit...Commit started normally and when it was finishing it crashed....

does 79 work ?? what have you found to be the maximum ??

2) commit 20 tracks at a time ...

as above what is the maximum # of tracks Avid planned to allow you to Commit in One Go ... ?? Drew, Jeffro, Chris ...

3) when you are close to 138 audio the crash occurs ..

thats when doing 20 tracks at a time, right ?? ..

thx for posting this .. cheers john

I mean that:
Committing 80 channels at once was smooth and quick but when it tried to import hem back in session then the crash occurred. ..So I tried to find what's happening ....So I started to commit 20 tracks at once and deleting the "pre-committed" tracks. ..That's when I realised that when you exceed track numbers in native while commit the crash happens. ..
However commit works perfect and I think that this crash "bug" has nothing to do with the commit itself but with the post commit stuff regarding pro tools native....
P.s I think track numbers was 138 max..I will experiment today later
Thanks

UPDATED TEST
make a new session with 128 audio tracks (yes i know it's limitation)
insert a plugin (for the sake of test) in a track and then commit..Crash occurs!!!
and i think it should not...perhaps a message or something telling you that you can't commit or you reached the maximum amount of tracks...
Anyway,i know it's too early and of course bugs will happen all the time when a new feature comes but just like to report back so fix will come in the future and people should be careful when they have too many tracks...

If I'm not mistaken in Vanila, it's 128 total. That includes committed tracks as they are audio tracks.

Hi Connor, just checked 12.3.1 about this issue...I found out that:
When you have 128 tracks (for example) and you try to commit (with Just Commit) then there's a message saying you are exceeding tracks etc etc...So no crash.....BUT!!!!!! if you try to commit with Commit up to this insert, then Crash stil occurs in 12.3.1
Please report this back to team!!
However,everything else is smooth....
Also..Still in 12.3.1 when committing with Slate's VMR settings are lost in the new committed track...I have contacted Slate's team and they know about this...hope you can report this too...

Thanks. We'll get on this one. RE: VMR, to the best of my knowledge this issue is specific to the plug-in and not something we can fix alone. I have seen an increase in reports given the new functionality making it more likely to encounter so I will ask the team who works with our 3rd party plug-in developers to follow up.
