Default putting cassettes onto CD

Is there an easy way to acheive this with either protools or another program so that you can just record a whole side of a cassette in, put markers where each song would start and burn a CD?

thanks

You'd still need to separate each tune as a region, then you can bounce each tune to disk (slow way) or export as a stereo file.

Yea the best way i know of is just record the whole cassette onto Pro Tools and then go thru and Consoladate Each Region when it's done.

Bias Peak LE is the little beauty that your looking for.

1) Export the entire cassette side as one big long AIFF File.
2) Open the file up in Bias Peak and select the 'auto define tracks' feature, this allows you to put multiple markers on a single file for the likes of live recordings, casette conversion etc.

I'm using Peak Pro now and to be honest for the money the LE version isn't far off and has the feature your looking for.

Hope this helps

AudioHiJack or AudioHiJack Pro will let you do this...and create new tracks on the fly. If you're recording a live stereo source, you can set it to create a new track after a preset amount of time has passed. Like a seminar, church sermon etc.etc.
Can create in any format you prefer so no conversion BS or bouncing BS required. A REAL time-saver.
Google Rogue Amoeba or AudioHiJack. Go to http://versiontracker.com for demo versions....

Also is compatible with the Apple AUs, VSTs and has a buttload of built-in effects. (Pro version)
