Video Problem with Mix+ , Help?

i have a project where i have problems with the video-playback.

System PT TDM 6.41 , OSX .39 , Video : DV Pal 24 fps, Miro DC 30 card
Quickpunch enabled , preroll 3 sec.

The Behavior in play mode is fine and snappy.
When we try to record , the Video-playback is in the first 2 seconds
stuttering (2-3 fps) (in the preroll) and is after theese 2 seconds ok.

So far i remember i saw this behavior only on HD systems
but had theese problems not on my mix+ system.
All otherSession i have are fine.
I mainly use dv or mjpeg A codecs.

I checked preferences and peripherals but found nothing wrong.
Recording limit is set to 5 min.
I tried save session copy in... no success.

The session is coming from an PT8 system where it was
saved as an 5.x/6.x session.

Btw i tried first session data import to a new session
but had always crashes , so i had to use the original session
to work with.(but thats an other story)

I assume there is anything corrupt with the original session,
the audio or the video file.


any help would be nice

Is the video on a separate drive from the audio ?
That's always a good idea. .

there are seperate OS- , audio- and video hd..
the problem occurs only on certain sessions , coming from
PT 8 or above sessions, and only in the preroll if quickpunch is enabled,
which is a pita when recording foleys..
