Default Help. Profire 2626 H/W buffer size no lower then 128?

Why can't I set the H/W Buffer Size any lower then 128 with the Profire 2626? Am I doing something wrong. I figure it should go down to at least 64 like it did with M Powered. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is this new to ver 9? on 8.0.4 I can go to 64. On Win 7 64bit. Perhaps it's the driver used, or are there settings for the driver in PT 9?

I got down to 64 on my ProjectMix IO by setting up an Aggregate I/O device instead of interface-only. Prior to PT9 & Aggregate feature, I could only go down to 128 on my Mac in PT8

Weird, I never could get my 2626 to go down to 64 samples on any version of PT8(currently 8.0.4 mac). I have not upgraded yet to 9, how did you get your 2626 to go below 128 while you were in PT8?

I use the Profire 610 with W7x64 and if I run it at 88.2 or higher I can get down to 32 for my buffer.

I would love to know how this worked... when I switch to aggregate device, the Profire 2626 does not show up, just my stereo mac i/o... I've read elsewhere that avid doesn't support m-audio interfaces as aggregate devices, but I don't know that for sure...

I'd just really love to get the latency lower than 128. it's just not great for pro tracking, or using software instruments...

You have to place the ProFire into the aggregate... it doesn't just "show up."
