Default PT 7 save preferences.

I use a Mix era system, and run 6.4.1, but I do some of my editing at home on an LE system running 7.4. What I'd like to be able to do, is to have PT 7 automatically save as a PT 6 session. Does anyone know if there's a way to make that happen? Thanks!

Yes,

When you open up a new session, I think it gives you a prompt for that when you open it on the PT 7.4 system.

I think you'll have to use "save copy in" to create a new session and choose "pt5.1->6.9 session" as the session format. now it will open in 6.4.1. any of the new features in 7 will be lost or adapted somehow.

Chris is absolutely right, use "Save Copy In" and it will prompt you to save the session in many prior formats.

Thanks folks! I've been doing the "save copy" thing, and that works great. I'm just trying to make that happen every time I save, so I don't forget. One less step ya' know?!
