We use AIR quite a lot lately and we are very disapointed in these expansions, have been waiting for this a long time and after listening to the expansions we were surprised that AIR haven't put more effort into making the sounds more useful for 2015! It's like we are going backwards to the mid 2005 and I think AIR should revisit this and do it right. The VI they have are quite good and deserve better. We use LOOM/Hybrid3/Velvet and Structure every day and would love to pay for great expansions for these VI but won't after listening to their latest offerings.

I didn't get the chance to play the demo songs earlier,

But I also like Norwegian black metal that is intentionally made to sound as bad as possible

How something sounds (good or bad) is a relative term.
