Default TDM HD Card with newer HD Interface?

Hi!

Works and can i connect a newer AVID HD Interface (https://www.avid.com/de/products/pro-tools-hd-io) with the small Digilink Connection to a TDM Core Card with the normal Digilink Output? Or do I need a old HD Interface like the 192 Khz Interface?
This all should be installed on a Win7 Protools 10 Version.
