batch src and convert LR mono files to interleaved

I have a few hundred clips of left and right BWAV files that I need to SRC and convert to interleaved stereo.

What is the simplest way to do this?
I have several ways to SRC in batch, but it would be nice to do all in one go

If they have a .L and.R suffix, then you should be able to import them all to a session at their current sample rate, then export them all from the region bin (where they'll appear as a stereo pair) as interleaved and at the sample rate you want

If not named like that, then it gets more convoluted but just a couple extra steps and clicks

Select them in the clip list and hit apple-shift-k.

Does anyone know if it is possible to assign a stereo pair to a different folder/drive with disk allocation and still have it come out interleaved?

say 32 tracks interleaved in one folder on one drive and a stereo pair interleaved in another folder
