Default Grid lines view problem in 8.0.5

I just updated my LE system (MBox Pro) from 8.0.4 to 8.0.5 and my Mac from Leopard to Snow Leopard. (I don't think it's an OS problem, but just in case...) Now my grid lines, as viewed in Slip mode, won't stay the same as the distance I've specified my grid should be.

In other words, my grid is set to .500 seconds, but the lines only display that at a certain close-up view. When I zoom out, the grid lines change to greater distances. Previously, I could count on them always being a half second apart, but now I have to select that certain zoom setting to make sure my heads/tails are the correct length.

Anyone else had to deal with this, or know how to fix it? Thanks!
