Pro Tools | First - No Longer Available

I bought last week from M-Audio the OXYGEN Pro 61, which includes Pro Tools | First, but when I try to download it, I get only:

Pro Tools | First is temporarily unavailable for technical reasons. While we fix the problems, please take Pro Tools for a spin by getting your free trial.

Is there any information, when it will be available again?

I received my new Air 192/4 last week and after registering the product and downloading the drivers, etc, I tried to download the free Pro Tools First software package but received the following message:

"Pro Tools | First maintenance
Pro Tools | First is temporarily unavailable for technical reasons. While we fix the problems, please take Pro Tools for a spin by getting your free trial."

I went on to download the free trial software, but it keeps shutting down saying that I do not have sufficient subscription/autorization even though I can see that it is available in my Avid account.

I noticed that there are others with similar issues.

Anyone able to advise/assist?

I also have the same issue downloading Pro Tools First, but with my purchase of an Air 192|4 audio interface. I have posted a separate thread on the same issue if you want to follow. I also posted a request for help with the Tech Support Team.

I want to download Pro Tools | First but the download link is not working. On https://www.avid.com/pro-tools I click on Download for Pro Tools | First which leads me to https://my.avid.com/get/pro-tools-first but this site only shows "Pro Tools | First maintenance". It's already one week ago since I first tried to download Pro Tools | First. Where can I download Pro Tools | First?

You should be able to download it from your Avid account.
Log into your account and go to the Pro Tools First section under My Products.
You will see a link to download it there.

But you can not activate Pro Tools First as you get the same message "Pro Tools | First is temporarily unavailable for technical reasons."

I too am having this problem, and it is going on for weeks. I do have a trial version that I moved to, but that does not let me load any of the included virtual instruments. Any way I can get the virtual instruments downloaded without the dreaded "Pro Tools | First maintenance" message?

I’ve heard that Avid is working on fixing the download, but I’m not sure what the hold up is. I’ll past any updates in this thread.

Thanks for the quick reply. The download has been non-functional for weeks now and hopefully that means a fix is imminent!

"Pro Tools | First is temporarily unavailable for technical reasons. While we fix the problems, please take Pro Tools for a spin by getting your free trial."

shows the latest release page, but there is not download.

I also need support on getting a free license.

When I contacted the Support chat they told me to post here .....
