Default Import Audio Bug in newest PT?

I have the newest PT HD running Leopard.

When I try to import more than 1 audio file at once, it gives me an error. If I import the same files individually it works.

This happens for .wav and aiff files.

Also happens in various sessions.

Is this a known bug?

Importing from where?

From disk? pull the songs onto the desktop first! the player might not be fast enough!

From hard drive? should do this no problem! trash data base files?

<< Importing from where? >>

For example: a folder containing 42 mono aiff files. I copied the folder to my audio drive. Tried importing all and got the "error import files". Tried just selecting 2 or 3 files and got the same error. If I do one at at time it works flawlessly.

Same bizarre error when I am in the workspace and try to drag in more than 1 song at once.

<< trash data base files? >>

Haven't tried that yet. System is only 2 weeks old and works perfectly except for this. I'll give that a shot though!

Where are you copying it from? A CD or DVD? If so, make sure permissions are set correctly on the folder and any enclosed folders or files.

Also, knowing the exact text of the error message would help.

Did some more testing.

Deleted Digidesign DataBases folder from all my drives.

Whenever I attempt to import more than 1 audio file at a time, I get "Unknown error while selecting..."

This happens for any sort of audio I try to import (former bounces, mp3s, sounds effect, etc.)

Any ideas?
