Loop playback with picture broken in 20.9+20.9.1?

We're seeing errors after about 10 rounds of loop playback. PT throws up some kind of "too slow or not enough CPU" and stops. Happens on every rig that's on 20.9 and 20.9.1.

Disable video hardware and it's gone.

Didn't happen in any PT version before 20.9. It will loop for about 10-12 rounds before the error. Every single time on various different rigs.
