Default Monitor Extensions

Can anyone give some advice on extending the cables on dual VGA monitors without sacrificing quality? I've always had bad luck with this but I cant get around it (unless I can extend the cable on the 001). Suggestions???

well, I hate to say this... but... If you make your monitor cable too long, you'll get ghosting in the picture. And, the digi cable comes as long as it gets. Longer digi cable makes too much latency.

I know it's tough not being able to put yer box in a safe corner...

Take a look at Gefen "extend-it" products if you want to place your monitors a greater distance from your computer. www.gefen.com

I use dual 21" monitors. One of them(as well as mouse & keyboard)is connected to a Belkin KVM switchbox to use with my main computer. My Digi system uses dual monitors into a ATI Radeon VE card. The Belkin switchbox cables are 10' high-res.--works splendidly--

When you use dual monitors with the digi oo1, what do you get? A mixwindow and a edit window? Or can you set it up so your plugins and transport are on one screen?
