Regex in 2022.12 VERY Broken

What the hell AVID!

Something is very wrong with the Regex in 2022.12, all my presets for renaming stems and midi from arrangers are dead in the water and even just trying to do it on the fly doesn't work.

searching for a string is now totally not accurate to the exact string

this regex to remove all extra spaces in one shot is totally broken

^\s|\s+(?!\S)|

Did they change the delimiter? Is it just... broken?

I've had renaming issues, too. I created a case for it — I suggest you do the same. My issue is similar but different. The more information they get about what's going on the more likely they can stamp it out.
