Stand corrected. Intels are however usable so long as macOS is hybrid.

I like the idea of the public beta but think I'll pass on putting it onto my Mac Studio. I have an M1 Mini I use for web surfing. Maybe I'll try it on that to get an idea of how it will run!

I installed Ventura on an external SSD for the specific purpose of testing it on the Mac Studio.

It seems very unlikely that Avid would support a hybrid approach. I think if that were the case it wouldn't have taken so long to release.

Not necessarily.

PT has an archaic codebase with deep links to HW. Eucon has been Apple Silicon compatible for a while now and one would think it was probably an easier port due to being a more modern codebase.

Anyhoo… we’re not far off now.

Can't wait to try this on my M1 Macbook Air... but definitely will be keeping my studio hackintosh on a release version so i can continue to get work done.
