Hello,
I'm on Windows 7 and trying to configure an external 7200rpm USB 2.0 drive for use with PT12.4. The drive is formatted for NTFS. The drives partitions are greyed out under "offline volumes" and the "permissions" options are also greyed out not allowing me to change T to R. Does this mean that a USB 2.0 drive is not compatible with PT12.4 on a Windows 7 system? Thanks. UPDATE: It is now working correctly. I deleted each partition volume and reformatted. Will try to create the new partitions and see what happens. The full volume now indicates an "R" by default:) Now the test of seeing what kind of audio throughput I can pull off using USB 2.0.
