Windows 8 Driver for M-Audio Fast Track Pro

Hello Everybody

I took the Thread i thought that's the right One for my Question.

I hope it's fine and ok!

Now to my Question:

I want to buy a new Notebook with Windows 8 on it. I want to use my Interface from M-Audio (M-Audio Fast Track Pro) with a Shure-Mircrophon.

So i searched for the Driver for it, but i don't find it.

Please, can You maybe help me?

I don't want to have problems like this, when i buyed the new Notebook.

So maybe it runs with the newest Driver. The Driver for Windows 7, but i want to be shure.

Can You give me some Informations?

I would be really glad!

Fast track pro works perfectly with my Windows 8 using Windows 7 driver.

I have both Reaper & Studio one 2 working well with Windows 8, I can't get PT10 to work.

Thanks for Your first Answer! So You think, it works?! You know if i can take anywhere a Driver for Windows 8? Or it dosn't exist?

I don't really understand your second Answer? I speak German, so You can maybe write more detailed? Sorry but my English is not very good.

The Fast Track devices were kept by AVID after M-Audio was sold to InMusic. The latest drivers are available here:http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ck-Pro-Drivers The Win7 drivers might work fine, but Windows 8 is not officially supported yet, either by the FTP drivers or Pro Tools.

I already known this information. For me is only important, that I can buy the new notebook and work with Fast Track Pro on it. Without any problems.
