Default Novation Nova 2 keyboard

Anyone out there using this keyboard, if so how do you like it?

I'm using a SuperNova 2 (upgraded to proX), and love it. It's not "better" than my Triton or XP-80, just different. It fills gaps that my other keyboards can't fill well.

It's helped me see "timbre" as an important part of music-making; changing the timbre of a note over time is really musical and really interesting.

I've tried other analog modeling synths, and this one captured my heart unlike the others. I understand the upgraded Operating System is due any time now....

Ted.

Thanks Ted. I had the Nova for a while yet sold it recently hoping to get the Nova 2 keyboard. Are there many good drum programs/sounds?

When y'all are typing "Nova II" are you referring to the "SuperNova II"? I know Novation has a few different models, and I want to make sure we're talking about the same one....

Here's a link to some audio samples:

There's nothing like listening to the real thing through some headphones, though.

BTW, the model listing at $3999 I bought for $2500 or so (I don't remember the exact price I paid).

Ted.

Yes Ted myself and Adam F. are talkng about the "Nova II" not the "Supernova II". The Nova II seemed to slip between the cracks, it's a great board I'm told. Like the Nova with a keyboard attached and more new features.

Thanks Adam for the reponse too, much appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

I just got a Nova II keyboard a few months ago on a closeout special. LOVE IT. Still learning on it, but it sounds great!
