Re: Pro Tools 11.3.1 and Windows 10
What I did is install PT 11.3.1, when that installation was done then DO NOT repoot the PC.
Deleted the TPkd.sys file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\TPkd.sys. That TPkd is a old iLok driver causing a problem when booting up again into Windows 10. Downloaded the newest ilok support and installed the installation file in the Old Installers folder. Rebooted the pc and started the PT 11.3.1 installation again to finish the PT installation. Then I installed the newest installation of iLok in the root folder from the newest iLok downloaded folder. Set PT compatibility mode to Windows 8 and set it to Run as administrator Worked 100% |
