save session as version 8
any way to do this without having to copy all audio?!
just want to give a version 8 session file for reference and do not need to copy all the audio! |

Save a copy like normal, uncheck the copy all audio option.

The uncheck is greyed out maybe because I have interleaved files?

Better be on the safe side and copy the audio. 10 minutes up front could save a lot of wasted time at the other end
