Default Looking for a good Noise Reduction Plugin

Im on the look out for a good noise reduction plugin. Doesn't have to be super fancy. I recorded some high school ensembles and some of the solo/duet stuff is very quiet and the noise is very high. How is BIAS SoundSoap 2 vs SoundSoap Pro for something like this? Thanks in advance!

I just got both of them. Soundsoap 2 seems pretty decent, but Pro is definitely more powerful. However, I can't get it to run on my Intel yet. What is your system?

If you plan to pay *any* money for it, I'd suggest you get a good one to begin with! IMO Sony Oxford Restoration buncle is a great one. If it fits your budget, just go for it. If it doesn't, then buy a cheapo DINR from eBay. But do not pay too much...

I've got DINR for sale for $40 if you want. ($25 iLok transfer fee, $10, plus the 12% that PayPal charges). I would recommend spending more for something better, but DINR is what it is...

go thru each track and chose a few tracks that are bad and add a low pass filter. a lot of instruments don't ound over certain frequencies, and you may getting noise there.

make sure no unneccessary returns are open and/or noisy.

for noise reduction, i like DINR. i have sound soap, not pro, and it's ok, but i get better results DINR.

if its severe and must be removed, hire in a CEDAR hardware noise reduction. superb.
