Any opinions on the B.Sky BMC MKII vs MartinSound Multimax?

Looking to replace my controller. I have the presonus central station for my nearfields. Just picked up a blue sky system--was contemplating having 2 controllers OR getting the multimax to control everything.

I use both the BMC MKII and the Martinsound Multimax EX with the BMC doing the bass management and the Multimax being a router/downmixer/multiple source/monitor controler.

It all depends on your needs. If you simply need a Bass management controller for your Blue Sky monitors, it's works very well and Pascal is extremely helpful if you ever have questions or problems.

If you have multiple sources, you'll need either extensive and analog/digital inputs or something like the MultiMAX.

Can you (would you) do the Bass Mgmnt on the multimax? I can't afford both--has to be one or the other (trouble is I have a line on a really good deal for the EXR model)

The Multimax doesn't do bass management (but otherwise has a lot of features, we use the older non EX Multimax).
