iPod as a firewire drive...
Well, we finally tried it. My boss and I fired up the the iPod, copied a PT session and opened it up.
24 tracks with tons of plugins and edits. (mix + sys). We put two tracks into record and it went for four minutes before we got bored. I don't think that the iPod is going to be my new drive, but for those of you wondering, it worked fine. Andy |

It's in essence the IBM 5 G minidrive.
So, it should work with m-Box? I wonder if there's enough power on the USB and 1394 buses to run both?
