Cant get asio driver to work w sonar

I have been trying all morning to get the digio asio driver to work tith sonar.
I downloaded the asio driver from digi first and installed it.Then I downloaded the 2 upgrades for sonar.
They are 2.1 and 2.2.
I did 2.1 and then did 2.2.
What am I doing wrong?I have never got my guitar into sonar since I bought it.I got sonar for the soft synths along time ago and since sampletank rtas came out I dont hardly ever use it.
I am not seeing anything digi in the in and output section in sonar.I am aware of the no midi in protools with the driver instaleed also.
Please help me!

The ASIO driver is for Cubase and other programs that use ASIO. Sonar does not use ASIO driver, as I understand it. Sonar's 2.1 update upgrades alot of stuff from 2.0, the 2.2 update's only purpose I believe is to let Sonar see the Digi001 and use it's I/O's. That's how I understood when I read through all the stuff on Sonar and Digi's web site last month. I've yet to even try to make Sonar work with my digi001... let me know if you get it to work, was it worth the effort.

By the way to get your digi001 midi port back you'll have to uninstall the ASIO driver and re-install Protools.... that's what I had to do.
