Pro Tools | Standard Annual Subscription Discount for Perpetual License Holders

I got an email with a promotional price if I renew my subs.

If I do so:
I will get 1 year of updates from my current version;
If I dont renew the version I will keep will be the last at the subscription end;
If I renew after I will get one more year and so on.

Is this correct?

I am also considering this promotion. Currently, in my studio A, I'm using Pro Tools HD 12.4, and in Studio B, I'm using Pro tools non HD / Ultimate. I would like to use the latest subscription version in studio A for a year and the HD 12.4 version in studio B. The only problem is that in studio A I have an avid hd native + Avid hd 8x8x8, and the digilink license is in group of PT 12.4 HD licences. Can I use my HD 8x8x8 with this subscription version for $ 299 without buying a second digilink license?
