Default PC to Mac: Which CD burning software?

I can go mac to pc without problems, but going in the other direction doesn't work so well. From reading the FAQ, I have determined that I am not burning the CDs correctly, or I need different software.

What happens is that the mac has trouble reading the CDs. Sometimes it will read them, but I get errors. Other times the mac can't read the CDs at all. The FAQ says that you should have software that can do PC/Mac hybrids, but as far as I know the software I'm using (Nero) doesn't have that option.

Could someone tell me if I am using Nero incorrectly, or what software I should be using?

Thanks
