2021.6 hangs when deleting audio or MIDI clips
First attempt to do delete a couple of audio and MIDI clips from a test session in 2021.6. Spinning Beach Ball of Doom, have to force quit. Kind of a bummer. Seems to occur whether I am doing audio, or just MIDI, or both. Anyone else see this? Is there a fix...?

No trouble deleting audio clips on Catalina with a Trashcan.

Hmm, I'm in Mojave. PT on an NVMe PCIe SSD. Sessions are on an internal 2TB SATA HD, same one I've used for years in a different machine. Mac Pro Cheesegrater 2009 5,1. Will go check in 2013.3.1 later...

Jumped back over to 2021.3.1 on internal SSD also on Mojave. Brought up the same little session and deleted the audio and MIDI clips no problem. Went back to 2021.6 again, opened up a copy of the very same little session, and deleted audio files and MIDI clips no problem. Same session that gave me the spinning beach ball of doom this morning when I tried to do that. Gremlins...

Only a matter of time before we get the Avid neural network AI... just click the "Make Song" icon...
