sebas, i have beige g3w/ 001, 288 ram, upgraded cpu to 466 mhz. Runs very well, i do get the dreaded DAE error every once a while, have more problems w/ cpu freezing!! I
think freezing is a RAM problem though??
anyway, g3 runs great, have had 001 since feb and love it! You will want to get an upgrade chip. I noticed HUGE difference between 266mhz and 466 mhz. do a search on the duc w/ beige g3 and see what ya get.

peace

I use to have the -6045 error all the time, untill I played with the memory allocation/buffer settings etc... now it works like a charm!

G3 233 MT
28.5 GIG MaxtorDiamondPlus
192 RAM
8.6

I easily run 20 tracks with a dozen plugins (I'm maxing it out to the limit though)

Digi, is this being worked on? It seemed like 5.0LE worked fine on the beige g3, but 5.0.1 wasn't nearly as stable.

Will 5.1 run better on beige g3's?

Mike

Mike,
Unfortunately, I do not know to what extent Beige G3/Digi001 systems are being tested with PT LE 5.1.
