Digi, you should consider adding a software update feature directly into the ProTools software. Most other third party apps already have that (Adobe, Norton, Stuffit, etc).
The software update button should be linked to all your third party developers download pages as well, and automatically do the update. So for us, simply hitting the update button while connected to the net will get us all the updates specifically meant for our system (MIX, HD, 002) and OS (XP/OS9/OSX). Time saver. |

I don't really mind downloading the newest version of ProTools but it would be awsome if it downloaded the newest version of plugins. I read a rumor before that Apple was going to open their software update to non Apple programs at some point. That would be a good chance for Digi to do it without changing much or anything within the program.
