Default Option To Ignore File Type Extension

It would be good for the new ProTools software update to have an option to ignore file type extension (.wav, .aiff, .pts) when doing a search for missing audio files.

This is because if the audio files have simply been converted from SDII to .WAV, one still has to manually 'link' each and everyone of these audio files to the ProTools project simply because of the addition of the .wav file type extension.
